How can access to the web app be made secure?

The web app can technically be called up via a browser link; the user does not have to install an app. If the web app is to be used for a closed group of users (e.g., in the area of internal communication), it therefore makes sense to implement additional protective measures to allow access only to selected users or employees. One simple way to do this is to restrict access to selected IP addresses. This means that only employees from the company network can access the web app (from the workstation in the office or via VPN from home). All other calls are blocked. This method is considered very secure.
