In case you have any questions or suggestions, please write to us at s[upport@tchop.io.](mailto:support@tchop.io "mailto:support@tchop.io")
Width: You can set the width of the iFrame container. tchop iFrame is responsive and will adjust accordingly to different screen sizes. But you can define the maximum width you want to iFrame container to be. You can define width in px or %
Height: You can set the height of the iFrame container and define it in px or %. This option helps you to prevent iFrame container covering your entire web-page.
Alignment: In case, you want to limit the width of the iFrame and not show it to the full width (100%) of the web-page, you can decide the alignment of the iFrame container using this option.
Number of maximum columns: Often you want to show multiple columns in the same iFrame container. This option helps you to do exactly that. Using this option, you can decide in how many columns the tchop content cards should be shown in full-width web page. We automatically adjusts the number of columns for smaller screens.
Note: This option only appears when the embed type is news feed or mix
Number of initial posts: This option lets you restrict the total number of posts you want to show in the embedded URL. This option comes handy when you want to create embedded URL out of News feed or Mix containing many cards and you want to show only the top 10 or so cards in the embedded URL.
Note: This option only appears when the embed type is news feed or mix
Display User: You can decide whether or not you want to display the name of the user who created the content card in the iFrame container.
Please note: If the card is created by integration, the user will not be displayed irrespective of your ‘Display User' setting.
Display Timestamp: You can decide whether or not you want to show the date and time when the card was published in the tchop backend. In case you want to display the timestamp, you can also customize the color of the time stamp.
Hint: The color should be provided in ‘HEX’ code format. In case you are not familiar with HEX code, you can always select the color by clicking the color container
Show Scrollbar: You can decide to show scrollbar within the iFrame container. We don’t recommend to show ‘Scrollbar’ inside the iFrame container as there will be 2 scrollbars visible in the same web-page.
Language: Using this option you can decide to display the timestamp and the user name in either English or German.
Please note: This option is only available when user decide to show ‘Time stamp’ or ‘User name’ or both in the iFrame container.
Select Font: You can customize the font of all the text in the iFrame container from the vivid list of Google fonts presented in the option menu. By default, primary font is ‘Univers Next’
Show logo: You can select if you want to show your brand logo in the iFrame container. When you set this option to ‘Yes', you can upload the logo via a link or from your local machine.
Please make sure that the logo is of high quality or else it might look blurry. Always have a look at the preview before inserting the embedded URL in your web-page
Display Header: You can decide to show the ‘Header’ as a part of the iFrame container with custom text referring to the content inside the iFrame container. When you set this option to ‘Yes’, additional field appears where you can define the ‘Header title’, ‘Header Intro' and the 'Header text color'.
Please note: Maximum characters allowed in header title and header intro is 160 characters.
Background color: You can either set the background color of the iFrame container as transparent or set it to a specific color using this field.
Please note: When the embed type is ‘Card’, this option will only appear when decides to ‘Show Header’ or else there will be no option to set background color
Source color: Using this option, you can customize the color of the source shown in the article cards.
Please note: This option is only available when embed type is ‘News feed', ‘Mix' or ‘Card’ with card type as 'Article card’
Hint: You can always change the above layout and customization options even after creating the iFrame embedded URL and inserting it in your webpage. All the changes except layout changes will be automatically adopted to the inserted URL. For layout changes (width, height and alignment), you need to extract the new embed URL.
