How do I create new channels?

To create new channel within organisation:

If you are an Org. Admin and you want to create a new channel within your organisation:

Go to organisation dashboard
Go to 'Channels' tab

Click 'New channel'

Give an unique name to your channel and then click 'Create'


Please note: This channel will only be accessible via your company app which is connected to this organisation. 

To create new channel in tchop (default) organisation:

If you want to create new channel in tchop welcome organisation which you can then access via the tchop app:

Go to https://tchop.io/me
Click 'New channel'

Give an unique name to your channel and then click 'Create'


Please note: This channel will only be accessible via the tchop app which is connected to this organisation. 

In case you get an error that the 'Subdomain does already exist' - this means the similar subdomain already exist in our database. In this case, you need to give another unique channel name or change the sub-domain. To change the 'Subdomain':

Click the 'Pen-like' icon

Make necessary changes to the subdomain
Click 'Create'
