How can I activate an additional tab in the app for static information?
All the newly updated apps have a hidden additional tab which can be activated anytime to show static content from a single mix. You can show static content from a single mix at organisation level or at channel level.
If the mix is pinned at organisation level: All the users of the organisation will see the content from that mix in the app.
If the mix is pinned at channel level: Only the users who have access to that channel will see the content from the mix in the app. Other users will see the content either from the mix pinned at organisation level or empty screen.
Attention: Only one mix can be pinned at organisation level and at channel level each. Published content from the pinned mix will be shown in the app irrespective of whether the mix itself is published or unpublished.
To activate the additional tab, follow the steps:
Note: Only the updated version of the apps will have this additional tab. This additional tab will not be visible in older version of the apps
Go to New Mix or Edit mix view (Content from this mix will be attached to the additional tab in the app)
Click on ‘More preference’
Go to option ‘Pin to tab bar in app’
* Channel: If you want to pin the mix at channel level
Organisation: If you want to pin the mix at organisation level
None: If you don’t want to pin this mix to the additional tab in the app.Select option:
Save changes
Depending on the option selected, the additional tab will be visible in the app. If no mix is pinned either at channel or at organisation level, the additional tab will not be visible in the app.
